We encourage you to book your hotel rooms early as the SAS Champions golf tournament is the same weekend! If you have any issues booking, please let us know! 

We have rooms available for check in either Friday 10/16 and Saturday 10/17. There are 10 rooms available in this room block each night. This hotel is just across the street from the venue. Can the kids attend the event? 

We politely request that our wedding be an adults-only celebration. While we love your little ones, we hope this allows everyone to relax and enjoy the evening. We will not be making any exceptions to this rule. Thank you in advance for understanding!

Can I bring a plus one? 

Due to limited space, we are not able to accommodate additional guests. Guests are limited to those on the invitation.

What is the dress code?

The dress code is black tie optional for our celebration. We encourage guests to embrace darker, fall-inspired colors to complement the season and setting. Women are encouraged to wear floor-length gowns, while men may opt for suits or tuxedos.

WHAT IS THE LOCATION OF THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION?

The ceremony will be outdoors and cocktail hour will be both indoor and outdoor. The reception is fully indoors.

CAN I TAKE PICTURES DURING THE CEREMONY?

We will be having a technology free ceremony. We ask that all guests enjoy the moment and keep their phones and cameras out of sight.

CAN MY CAR STAY AT THE VENUE OVERNIGHT?

There is complimentary valet parking for the duration of the event however, there will be a fee for valet if the car is left overnight. There is also Self Parking at the venue that is completely free if you need to leave your car overnight.

If you’re looking for a little relaxation during the wedding weekend, The Umstead Spa is a peaceful spot to unwind with soothing treatments and quiet lounges. Their hiking trail along the water is serene for a leisurely stroll. Afterward, you can treat yourself to a delicious meal at Herons, their award-winning restaurant. A perfect little getaway right at the venue!

While you're in town, the North Carolina State Fair will be happening the same weekend! Think rides, games, and all the iconic fair food you can imagine. Make sure to get our favorites, the turkey leg and the roasted corn!
